Help!! Motor misaligned and SXR1100 wont start

hello everyone, I have a rickter with a 760 that recently stripped the midshaft & driveshaft splines. after getting the new parts, I threw the motor in and realized that it was super misaligned. (firstly, I know this is wrong, but I only have 3 weeks until I move for college so I just wanted to ride) in the front, I had 2 fat washers and 3 shims lifting the motor up and 1 washer and 2 shims in the rear lifting the motor up. first ride everything came loose, crazy right!? the motor is heavily modded, the ski is full carbon, and its sitting on rhaas SJ height motor mounts. what went wrong? is the hull or mounts warped? what are my options?

I also broke my dads ski, a kawi sxr1100. the ski is mostly stock and was riding perfect the entire year until I went to take it for a ride. cranked and started fine on the lift then once I got into the water nothing happened when I hit the button. no, it is not anything to do with being in the water because I took the ski out of the water and still nothing. I did a yami start/stop switch replacement last year but put the wires into another SS switch and also nothing. I used a probe to see where power is and throughout the ebox it was reading about -0.70 volts. the positive wire to the SS switch was reading -0.35 volts and I couldnt find a voltage for 1/3 of the spark plugs (from inside the boot) but maybe I just couldnt get it in there enough. I couldnt find a voltage for the CDI but it was giving power to the lines connected to it. I know close to nothing about electrical but probably guessing the problem is by the starter, but any help is appreciated.

I can post pictures if it would help. thank you all and please let me ride one more time before college!

You need to start by aligning your pump, this can be done with a cold fusion tool.
Once your pump is squared off you’ll align your motor with shims.
I didn’t want to believe it to be true but In recent experience I’ve found rhass mounts let your engine shake your ski like a paint mixer and I personally suggest going back to oem mounts.

As far as voltage goes it seems to me like you had your multimeter set to AC whereas you need to be set on DC. You are looking at all the wrong places with all the wrong settings on your meter :) ! You’ll be looking for 12+ Volts on the brown wire (going from your Yamaha stop start switch) that’s connected to your starter solenoid when the start button is pressed w/the lanyard in. You will have a side of the solenoid that should have a constant 12+v DC on it and a side that will have nothing on it (until start buttton is pressed). If you have 12v on that brown wire and a good ground (black wire on solenoid next to brown) but no crank and no 12v on the side that’s NOT constant you have a bad solenoid (most likely the case).

If you have any questions I’m more than happy to help you, good luck !

Alot of am hulls are set up to use couch mounts that are a little higher than SJ mounts. Using the SJ mounts on one set up for couch mounts you'll have to use alot more shims to get it level.

Here’s a picture of how much I had to lift the front mounts. The pump is aligned perfectly in the center I made sure to triple check that. The motor wasn’t sitting properly on the coupler so that’s why I lifted it up. Will couch mounts fix this problem?

He is on a Rickter.......... SJ Mounts.

If your pump is aligned like you stated then couch mounts would probably be much better. Before you do that though I would measure the height of those mounts and compare them to oem sj mounts. Those mounts may just be afu?

is there a way to check if my SS switch is bad? when I connected it to another switch I may not have done it right. is there a way to bypass it? I tried testing the solenoid and only received sparks.

There is usually some play in ability to move mounts inwards before bolting to the hull to raise the bed plates/engine upwards. You should get some OEM mounts as mentioned above.

UPDATE:

ordered couch mounts for the rickter, waiting on them.

installed a new solenoid for the kawi, tried starting it and nothing happened. clicked the button a bunch of times and twice the starter motor engaged for a quick second. thought it was the ss so I replaced it and there was still nothing. I officially have absolutely no clue what im doing now or where to start. the starter motor will engage if you bypass the solenoid but nothing after that.
