HELP, need a starter

I tried to go out to shake down the ski before Daytona, no start. My starter is toast.

Anyone got one they would sell cheap or loan me for the ride?

Yeah, that's cheap, but I am going to be scraping by to make this trip as it is. I'm hoping for a loaner just to get by this weekend so I can save up to buy one this spring.

Thanks for all the offers, squid came through also and he's local, so i just picked it up from him. I'm going to try to get it in the ski tonight and get it started. I haven't fired the ski in 2 months, so cross your fingers.

Ok, right back where I was. The one I picked up has a slightly larger armature shaft, neither front cap bearing will go over it.

Mine was shady today too. I had to bang on it with a screwdriver to make it fire over.

This was my first start in over 2 months too! I'm glad your coming Darin!

Alright, well, I have a starter from a 650 engine. If you find out that will work, I can ship you the starter, or I will be in Daytona Late Friday night.

I'm covered one way or another, hopefully I can get accbr's tonight and fire the ski up before leaving so I have some peace of mind.

I have brap again. riverrat loaned me another non-working starter, so between his and mine I was able to get a working one.

My stress level just went way down.
