help! need to find full face helmet for wave rave!

I am just starting to do barrel rolls, haven't got any complete yet. After a few hazy near-knock-outs I have come to the realization that i must ride with a helmet. I am just lucky that i haven't seriously hurt myself yet (like some of you i see on these sites with cracked open heads). How can i find one before wave Rave. I want the full chin deal, but i don't want to pay the 115.00 price on blowsion, nor do i want to wait. does anyone have one they can bring to wave rave? Or is there a dealer in michigan (possibly in Grand rapids?) I want to be safe rather than sorry, not trying to make my first ride on Lake michigan my last of the season.

Pm Yamaslut he uses a white water lid that also has a wire face guard. I really like the open style because I freak out with full face helmets on.

Slut can you post a link for your lid? I wish to keep it on file for when I get to rode surf I will have one.

yeah, the foam does not get wet, just the padding that covers the foam... which is not that thick, so it doesn't hold too much water.

I have a prorider as well... but it's not as comfortable as the bell. I also cracked the hell out of my proride taking a shot to the mellon on an extremely bad failed BF attempt. Somehow the limiting rope SS eye bolt went right through the helmet... good thing i was wearing it. :1244:

theres a place here in grand rapids right off of 131 called freewheeler its a bike shop he's got a few old bmx helmets laying around i got mine for 35 and my buddy got his for 40..nice lightwieght helmets cheap...gordy's an awsome guy to work with...he's just west of the highway maybe a half mile or so on leonard st.exit 87 i think.
