SX/SXi/SXi Pro Help PLEASE:Price Check on 1998 750 Sxi pro and triton trailer >like new > Madison WI

Hello all,

I googled stand up jet ski forum and this appears to be the spot. I was hoping I could get some help on appropriately pricing a 1998 Kawasaki stand up SXI pro 750 with a nice triton trailer located in Madison, WI.

My mother (no joke) bought this jet ski new on 7/25/1998 and has used it for approximately 1-2 hours every year at our small lake home in central WI. I believe it is completely stock except for some hydo-turf in the standing area ( I remember the original stuff tore out the first year).

It has been professionally tuned up and winterized every year since she has owned it. She is now 62 years old and has decided that it is time to move on to more casual sports (kayaking). I have been asked to sell it for her.

It has a few small scuffs in the stickers on the side and one small scuff in the vinyl on the handlebar area that has been patched.

Those are the only blemishes I know of. It runs well

I will attempt to upload some pics in a few. Anything specifically you would need to see to help with determining a fair price estimate?

thanks in advance

cheers, Hilton

p.s. I am a pinball guy and would be interested in trading if anyone has anything ;)

Sorry I don't have the ability to do a compression test. Anyone local can come check it out if they would like. It runs the same as when it was first purchased in 1998. I have ridden it a few times but honestly it has never been of much interest to me. It feels the same to me when I rode it last summer as it did when she first got it.

What would be a good general asking/selling price if you assume good compression? From my search elsewhere it would seem (including the trailer) $1500 on the low end to $2500 on the high end.

thoughts?

Set a price and go from there. If you don't get any bites, then you're too high and need to lower it.

Pricing is determined by supply and demand in your particular area, not what they go for in Florida or wherever someone else may be.

^ in my mind thats a good price, 750sxi's around the Minneapolis are priced around 2000 right now, the closer to 2500 they get the longer they seem to sit, I sold my 750sxi race ski for 1800 and it sold within a few hours..
