Help Please...School me on SPONSONS for my SXR800

Why do I want these? Will they make the difference I'm looking for? I have a set of straight aluminum sponsons on the rear of one of my SXR's. It definitely made it turn wicked faster but on perfectly flat water it caused the ski to radically go into a death twist at high speeds when going straight. I just bought a set of front sponsons to see if that cures the death wobble. My lake is always really flat. I use the ski for ripping around buoys and high speed turns. Out in the ocean with the big chop the ski works great. I need this to turn fast on flat water and then accelerate in straight line with out getting pitched!

If your running bouys on flat water, make some zig zag runs throught he course to get it stirred up some. After that your good to go. I ran TBM rear sponsons on mine with stock plate and TBM plate and no issues. I was riding few weeks ago on an SXR that I built from scratch with no rear sponsons, the rear stepped out on me then caught, causing all my weight to compress to my back foot. 3 weeks wearing a boot now!!!!!! What plate do you have?

destroyers are a nice addition to the sxr.
stops the nose from plowing down under in turns as in your photo.much easier to ride around buoys.
leaning back and lowering your stance will help also.
