HELP restarts on one cylinder

If I take a break from riding and lounge in the water,
it restarts, acts like it is running on one cylinder for a minute, then clears out and is OK.
What causes this?

single or dual carb...if dual....you could have one leaking N/S....causing flooding whilst the tank is under pressure and engine off.

I like to start with the easy stuff. Plugs could on the way out and fouling. Have you tried replacing them?

But i also agree, id investigate fuel getting by the N/S. Low/leaky pop on that 1 carb. When it happens pull both plugs and see if one looks wet?

single carb, but leaking n&s would flood one cylinder. brand new n&s, but low pop off
plugs were fresh. by the time I get back to shore, it is cleared out
