I'm in the process of setting up RRP steering on an xmetal adjustable pole. My question is about the lower plate. It seems the center pivot hole is smaller on the pole than the rrp piece that would slide into said hole. I'm making sure I'm looking at this correctly and not over thinking it. Does the center pivot hole have to be drilled accordingly?? Ill post pics if I have to but I'm on my phone at the moment. Thanks in advance guys.

I know the 4 holes have to be drilled on older xmetal poles, but I can't remember if Jetmaniac told me the center had to be drilled out too. Thanks for the response sanoman

Yeah I was looking at that. Ill just run it without it and pretend I'm Lucas. Seems like every time I see him in a vid he's got no chin pad, or a helmet, but I ain't Lucas. So ill rock my helmet til I get it trimmed correctly

I was able to make my Xmetal pad fit over my RRP steering system after I mounted it to my adjustable Xmetal pole. Just keep shaving the edges up in the back and make yourself a taller spacer in the middle. I used some small stainless tubing and a large washer on top and never had problems. Sorry I don't have pics....they were on my old phone.

You do have to hog the center hole out to fit, and with rrp riser bars you have to shave the chinpad and space it to clearance it, but ist a great combo and worth the effort.

I keep seeing this pop up, so ill let you guys know, it's mounted. Have ridden a few times with it. Still no chin pad. Still have to trim that.
