FX-1 Help selling an fx1

Hey guys i need ur input on selling this ski. Its a 95 fx1 with a riva ride plate intake grate and stainless impeller. Nice shape for being original. 150psi compression and runs great. Anyway, ive had it on craigslist and xh20 for about a week and havent had much interest. How much is this thing worth? I ride superjets so im not too familiar with the value of these fx1's apparently. I really thought it would sell fast for $2000-$2500. Guess I thought they were very desireable and rare making an easy sale.

I couldn't give mine away for 4k with a b-pipe, 144 pump, hooker impeller, op steering nozzle, ported motor with billet head, a/m 44 carbs, a/c racing polished pole, shredmaster rideplate and on an on. So don't feel bad. I parted it out an made way more $$ anyways.lol

You are asking a fair price. I suspect that your geography isn't helping. I don't know how populated your area is... but FX-1's don't tend to last long in my area.

Honestly they are still rare but that being said its rare to find someone who wants one. Here in our area everyone wants one but takes alot of pump work to make them desirable. So stockers here still only sell for 1500. Not offending your nice ski just telling the truth.

Thanks for the input. I guess ill try to squeeze $1700 or so out of it. Bummer, I bought this thing to make money on. Oh well, at least i finally got to ride one and i could always pull the 701 and put it in my fiance's 93 squarenose!:brap:

If you are going to pull the motor I would be very interested in hull, hood, and handle pole.

I sold my 95 fx 2 years back that had a sizzler pipe, new starter, bendix, riva groove plate for 1650 with a cheap utility trailer. I'd say $1500-1750 pending condition is what you will find will move the ski.

What do complete hulls, minus motor, with title, ride plate, intake, impeller go for? there r pics under skis for sale on xh2o. Thanks for ur thoughts!

that ski would have been sold if it were here on the west coast. Just be patient. i would ask 1800 and keep reposting it on craigs every friday.
