Help shipping a motor

I shipped them with the tote like the links above and also built little crates out of plywood and bolted the bedplates down to 2x4 runners. Have had luck with both. The plywood is definitely a safer bet if you have some laying around.

Last motor I shipped I went to Home Depot or Lowes and found a heavy duty Cardboard Shipping Box, Then I lined the inside with additional cardboard. Pack motor inside garbage bag or wrap in plastic, then fill all the voids with packed newspaper, peanuts or expanding foam (Hence, wrap motor up). Then place inside another box.
