Super Jet HELP ski goes off while riding

Hey guys,
yesterday I had a problem on my superjet and I would like to hear your opinion about it to understand wtf happened!
Let's start from the beninning: two weeks ago I started the ski for the first time after the whole winter season during which I upgraded the ski a little bit (head, bpipe, reeds, rejetting carb, etc) it ran smoothly the whole afternoon without any problem. I went back to the harbour, washed her with fresh water and brought her back to the garage.

Sunday (two weeks later) i went for a ride again, I rode a couple of hours and she runs great. Suddenly the engine changes sound, it goes from the classic 2stroke sharp "treeennnn treeennnn" to a hollow "brooo brooo", it can't increase rpms... I was quite far from the coast so I tried the last chance: I gave it full throttle and she start to go normally again, like she got uncorked, after that it ran normally for a while.

Suddenly again, after a little full throttle shot... broo brooo and it goes off. I tried to start it again but without success. I waited like 5 minutes, started it and went back to the harbour. Opened the hood, touched the engine and the pipe: they were quite hot (more than normal) but not "melting": around 160°F. I poured some water on both the motor and the pipe but it didn't sizzle at all.

After a while I started washing the ski with fresh water, plugged the fresh water hose into the engine flush plug, started the ski, it runs good at idle... I gave it a couple of gas hits, not full throttle but enough to make the fresh water flow through the engine and pipe and bam: it goes off again.
Never tried to start it again after that...

Now, since:

-i used the same gas from the previous ride which went smooth
-water is flowing correctly through the engine and pipe because it exits from both hull pissers (well actually at idle water doesn't come out of the pisser on the pipe head exit, but during the ride since the pressure in the pump increases, it pisses correctly)
-lit mainly goes off after a full throttle session

What can be the cause??

-I thought the piston was about to seizing (you know the moment right before seizing but it's not actually seizing) but the water flows correctly and the gas is same as the previous ride

-Water in tank?
-Maybe it sucked some dirt from the tank and clogged the carbs? (this would be strange cuz I have fuel filters and I cleaned the tank this winter)
-Maybe when I go full throttle it creates a fuel gap in the line and it gets no gas for a moment? (I also changed all fuel hoses and put a primer on the return line this winter)
-Any other ideas?

Thank you all so much for your help!!
Cheers

Marco

excessive oil in flywheel case could be a problem? i don't no. also if your midshalft bearings or prop bearings are ceasing it could slow engine enough to stop? try removing sparkplugs and then rotate engine by hand felling for ease of rotation (these are things that are easy to cheak, but may not be your problem;-)

disassembled midshaft and prob during winter, bearings are ok ;)
but it's a good idea to try and rotate the engine by hand, to feel if it is rotating ok or it is kinda stuck! will do during the weekend ;) thanks

I really dunno, never opened it before so that was how it was when I bought it last year! :D
I will take a pic in the weekend and hopefully also a video of the ski behaviour xD

Which are the weak points of the fuel line? I mean, what should I check to see if it is a fuel flow problem? Th ehoses are all new, the filters on the fuel line are quite clean, tank is clean. Maybe there is an air leak in the fuel line?
The primer is on the return line, so it shouldn't be causing this kind of problem...
I've been told there's a fuel filter inside the fuel pump in one of the carbs, I'm going to check it as well.

About sucking a rock, wouldn't it mean that water isn't flowing through the circuit? so I should see no water coming out of the pissers, right?

aw! good to know, then I'll open and clean both carbs! :D
so you are also thinking it can't be a pre-seize, hopefully? in italian it's called "taking a hot" what about in english?
