Help. Ski won't shut off

Yo7 may have a break in the wire going through the grommets

I have continuity from battery ground to black SS wire.

So if I connect a wire directly from the battery to the white SS wire going to the CDI and it doesn't shut off, what does that mean?

think i found the problem white wire coming from plug outside of the ebox to the inside butt connector didnt have continuity.

The white wire that connects the SS to the CDI has an open.

Soo it's the stop switch?

No it's the connection at the cdi that grounds it.

Where was the break, exactly.

In between the plug and the butt connector that from the ebox out to the outside of the box

Ok, so I'll do a little diagram showing just the circuit for the black and white wire. The open/ break is somewhere in the short piece of wire that goes through the ebox grommet.

[SS Switch]====(Black and white Wire)======[plug][plug]=====[ebox grommet]------[plug][plug]--------[cdi]
