SX/SXi/SXi Pro help with chin pad

I just bought a very nice 750 sx and the only thing wrong with it is the chin pad has a hunk takin out of it. What can i do about repairing the foam? Could I use styrofoam in a can, spray it in the bad spot and then shave down to fit? Any help would be appreciated!!!

i would ditch that bulky stock chinpad and find a used SXR chinpad from a member on here. should be pretty cheap and gives it a much lower profile so u can stand further up in the tray and over the pole. im sure somone has one on here

cut it and turf it.

if i decide to turf should i only use rubber cement or should i staple underneath

when i did mine on my 750 sx, i took out all the foam, and cut the lip that is closest to the bars.

i just used contact cement and glued the turf to the plastic. no staples and didn't wrap it underneath.
