Blaster Help with drilling second pulse line hole

Location

This is my first build and as soon as I put my intake manifold on, I realized I need to drill a hole for another pulse line fitting in my 62t case. I have dual SBN 46's and didn't think about this until I started researching fuel line routing.

Can you guys tell me what size/type drill bit to use? I know I have to pull the manifold back off and stuff a rag down there, etc. but I'm not sure what type of bit to use. I was going to just order another oem NPT fitting. Please help a noob out! Any advice you can offer is much appreciated.

Thanks guys.

Or you could run a Mikuni DF62 fuel pump
Thanks for the suggestion, at $50 maybe that's not a bad option. How does it get hooked up? Do the pumps in the carbs stay in place? Sorry for the questions, I work on BMWs - I'm new to the world of PWCs.

Protip: Don't use a WSM pulse fitting, make sure you order a OEM fitting. Thrust said they had OEM in stock a few days ago. DASA also makes there own maybe hit them up. I got mine OEM from boats.net for $2.09 but it took 9 weeks to receive. If you are using a hand drill use a undersized bit, the wobblocity of you holding the drill perpendicular (or lack there of) will make the hole bigger. I cant remember the bit I used off the top of my head but it was a standard bit (thinking 7/32 or 15/64). The OEM fitting has a taper to it so as it gets pressed in the fit gets air tight. I had to JB weld a WSM one in,(in the past) complete crap, and the ID is also smaller so I'm sure the single was different. also might want to buildup a 'flat' boss with JB so you can drill easier/straighter.

THE best way is to use a 1/8 NPT tap with a 11/32 drill bit. Thread in a 1/8 npt 1/4 barb fitting with threebond 1211 on the threads.

I just blew an engine because the stock pulse fitting came loose on the case. REPLACE the other with a fitting while you are doing the 2nd.

THANK YOU for listing all the sizes. This makes my life much easier. I'm going this route I think.
