So, I needed to replace some things on 701, so I disassembled the Ebox without photographing/writing down which wire goes where, confident I could remember it when needed to install the following week. Fast forward 1 year, and I finally got to installing it. :)
As you can imagine, I have no idea what goes where.

Soooooo, the problem is -- my red CDI has two white wires and one red wire, but no red/white, brown/white, as shown in diagrams I found on this site and google.

Can someone direct me to a diagram for such CDI, or I can photograph my current status.

Thanks.

You have a 50/50 chance on the white wire and it won't screw anything up, it just won't start.
If it only sparks when you let off the start button, swap the white wires.
If it cranks and runs, mark the white wire connected to the white/red stripe for future reference, then go buy a lotto ticket.

Ah, yes, the eternal question, should I go with the initial hunch for which white wire, or the opposite, based on my luck lately. ;-)

By "just wont start" he means it will crank just enough to fill your engine with fuel to kick off a backfire that will make your heart stop when you let off the button.

I don't have a temperature sensor -- do i just connect the pink wire to black or leave it loose?

Firstly, thanks for that info, because that's exactly what happened (spark only when I let go).

Soooooo, 5 months later I finally got to doing this, and the good news is that I got constant spark on both plugs.

However, here is the weird part -- I have 3 loose wires:
1. White from msd
2. White from stator plate
3. Pink from msd

If I leave them disconnected I get spark only when I let go. Only if I connect the two whites do i get constant spark, BUT, both of those bullet connectors are male, so I basically tried by holding them together with my fingers...
Which is weird, because it's the same ebox, just a new stator plate....I guess on the old one the white wire had a female connector, that's the only thing that would make sense. And it would only leave the pink wire from msd not connected to anything.

Different years had different connectors. The MSD should have initially come with a female to female jumper to accommodate your (and my) model year. I just cut it off and put a female on the MSD side, because I bought it used and didn't get the jumper.

Thanks everyone for your time!
It's been 18 months since the Blaster last ride. I rode many skis in the mean time and kinda thought I was over my obsession with Blaster being the best overall ski ever. So, I was blown away today by how much fun this ski is! So, yes, I still believe it's the best ever. We were planning to sell it, but after today's ride that's going to be almost impossible, both me and my wife love it.
Here's a small video, at the same time we tried Insta360 One X2 for the first time, and it's very cool.
