Now two questions for the group anyone use or have heard about this type of engine savers IDF engine savers? The idea is to limit vertical movements from the engine... I’m thinking to go for it.

Also I’m thinking to replace the oem start/stop switch for a Polaris start/stop/bilge pump switch.
Any opinion?!?

Im running a polaris switch with a bilge button and love it. Bilge button is momentary. Need to cut the metal pivot rod for the original polaris choke lever. It hangs out there when you remove choke lever.
Ive always liked that design for holding engine down, seems like it could save some mounts but have never used them.

Those savers look like they'll help with pancakes but offer little to no protection against lawn darts. It looks like you could pair those with a set of kenny keepers though and be covered.

Thanks Schicks for your feedback on the Polaris switch and I have the same on opinion regarding the IDF, probably they will save a lot of engine mounts or more than just the mounts...

Hi Whitca! The idea is that, is combine both engine savers styles one for limiting the horizontal movements and the other the vertical movement, special when you crash on your back trying to flip your jet.
I understand the principle of the IDF savers, the big question is if in reality they really work... because the “kenny keepers” I already have them.
Thanks
