Front hood clamp in, no ratchet or hood straps on this one, at least not to start.

New midshaft slid on like butter, but did need to have JM shorten the driveshaft a tiny bit.

Realized I need to pick up a water box, any suggestions on the quietest one? I have plenty of power, want to use it in the mornings without drawing too much attention.

Ok, found the water box that came with the ski, my son was using it for a scooter stand :)

Can you help me ID it? Shape is similar to x-metal, but the outlet is different… unless it was cut.

Turf job looks legit, thinking it may have come that way new.

Motor test fit successful. The PO (or PO’s) did a great job with the motor mount pads, no shims required with new OE mounts.

New Paul Lehr built TPE 964, titanium studs/bolts, CeraKote intake, exhaust, bed plates, front cover. Cylinder and Head were sealed with an Everbrite coating.

Should I use sealer (1211) on stainless motor mount bolts into brass hull fittings, or just some antiseize or marine grease to help avoid a galvanic reaction? I have always used 1211 but after spending a hour picking out RTV nuggets out of all the inserts, wondering if its really needed?

Xscream waterbox Joe. Will sound about the same as the Jm one. They fit well too..

*Red n Tacky grease will do the job on the mounts

I like loctite 572 for this. Great looking build. You’re making assembling a freak look easy.

Tried my hand at building an e-box w/Zeel from all new parts (except the used but re-built stator from JM).

Tucking the programming cable in, don’t see me using it often. Grounding bullets in fuse tube.
