Alright so first let me start out. My name is josh. I just started riding again after working long days and long nights trying to find a way to get a ski. Well I ended up with a 2001 Yamaha superjet. I have learned to rebuild fourwheelers and started buying and flipping fourwheeler till I had the funds to get a ski. Well after working it out and riding it a few times it started having issues. I decided why not rebuild it. I ended up doing a full rebuild on it. I had a close friend teach me how to port and polish. I learned everything about the ski and it made a good base to start with. I now just bought a pipe for it and a msd enhancer. I ski already has intake grate and an extended ride plate. I want to get more bottom end out of the ski and see if anyone has any deals for a broke senior high schooler lol. Also how did y’all get involved in this amazing hobby I call my addiction?

Buy a new top end to replace the one your friend ruined when he ported it. Unless he knows how to port a 701. If he did you wouldn't be asking about bottom end after a proper port job.

I'll make you a deal and send you a pack of unused stickers if you promise you wont flip the hack job cylinder on some other poor newbie soul;)

Lol I get that he actually is my girlfriend dad that has worked on skis his whole life. We had about 4 nights into making it perfect and I’m happy on how it runs but I just want more. I guess what I’m learning is power is addictive:) I’d like some stickers

The Freeride Dry Pipe is good, Makes good mid to top power, Little better bottom end than the Factory Type 4. But if you are wanting more bottom, then you need a B Pipe, or at least find a MSD ECWI system (Electronic Water Injection System) this can help you to tune the bottom end better........

I’ve been looking into the ecwi but I’m worried about more tuning
