for all of you out there that use a beach tote. We have developed our Ez-Ski Universal beach cart Clamp . This will allow you to transport virtually any make of beach cart/tote behind your jetski. These will plug right into any of our V2 Hitch haulers or directly into your hitch of your vehicle. We will also be making a V2 version of our beach cart clamp just like our V2 hitch Hauler where you can put your beach cart on and tow a trailer behind. (please note.. you will NOT be able to use our hitch hauler + beach cart tote+ another trailer behind!) What you see here in the pics is the prototype which is currently being real world field tested to get some data back on any changes/modification that need to be made. As of now it looks as though we nailed it on the first try. These have an adjustable clamp height to accommodate for toes that have larger/smaller bunks. Thank you Guys for always supporting our small American business .. we will continue to support the Jet-Ski community in any way possible. .Chris@Ez-Ski P.S we have a brand new website in the works as we speak ... :)IMG_0718.JPGIMG_0731.JPGIMG_0712.jpg

Beach Cart + Ski + Hitch Hauler + Beach Cart Holder = how many pounds?

MDX has a max tongue weight of 500 starting in 2014, 350 before that.

Ski (approx 320lbs , hitch hauler 28.5lbs, beach cart clamp 20 lbs, beach cart 35 lbs .
Please remember that all hitch receivers on us vehicles have a safety rating of three. What that means is if it states that it will hold 500 lb for example it has to have been tested to hold at least three times that. We don't ever want anybody putting 1500 pounds on it but it will safely do the ski/cart combination no worries

That's my setup, ski is about 230lbs, 35lb hitch hauler, 15lb Cart Clamp and 35lb jetlift. Well under limit for my 2008. I can hook my enclosed trailer up behind it and it and I drop maybe an additional 1/2". I'd guess with trailer hooked up i'm at about ~400

And 2008 is 5k tow rating. So 10% of that would be 500lbs

Been trying to figure it out on my personal hauler but it would be awesome to see a setup with fixed straps and ratchets so it all stays as one assembly. I ended up bolting my strap hooks to the hauler but I'm sure there is a better/cleaner way to handle it.

We have a lot of customers that use boat straps which are self retractable and they bolt them to the center tie downs that are on our hitchhaulers.. that way they stay with the hitchhauler I will try to find a picture. IMG_20201001_093538_734.jpg

What material are those bunks covered with? I know that anything that is not soft will slowly eat its way into the bottom of a ski.

They are a poly PVC blend the ones we have made in colors are softer than the white due to the durometer they needed for the white .. as long as you keep the bunks semi-wet we have not had issues. There is also the option of hydroturfing the bunks.
