My pump nozzle as well as my trim slightly stick out from the side of my vehicle. One of the tall skinny hard road comes took out my nozzle, bent my trim ring, ripped out my steering cable and let's just hope no other damages were done...

That's my thought. It's just so much easier to haul with a car and load and unload. But not when it's gonna cost ya a close to 7 or 800 bucks

Fawk. I'm always afraid of something like this when I use mine
Yeah man, my suggestion is if you built it yourself is to weld a little cage around the back pump/nozzle area. Cause it took it all. Trim cable steering, nozzle, x metal trim ring and Well nasically wrecked my rear end.

I'd be deathly afraid of a simple fender bender. Somebody roles into me going about 10 mph faster. Truck would handle it pretty good considering my jet-ski on the hitch hauler absorbed the entire impact. I'll always keep the ski in the bed of the truck.
You and me both from now on.

You can't prevent other drivers from rear ending you.
actually not 100% true

Im very aware of my surroundings n check my rear view at least every 5-10 seconds..

Ive never been in an accident in my entire life(driving 20k a year).. but thats mostly cause ive been able to avoid bad situations by expecting what other idiots on the road will do.

Oh n if someone is riding close to me while towing, then you sure as Heck know Ill say something

LOL... My wife backed into my SJ on my hitch hauler at the lake. She hit the ride plate its an 08 so the ride plate sits out 2 inches off the rear hull. Super Jet, zero damage, 2014 Camry $1,500.00 damage. Was I mad, hell no my ski was not hurt and body shops need to eat to:D

I'm still confused as to what hit your nozzle? "one of the tall skinny hard road comes took out my nozzle" What does that even mean? lol.

just thankfully there werent people standing close by or things coulda gotten/been a whole lot worse

note to self "stay off road when SJdippin is driving " ha

After reading this over 10 times I think I deciphered it, there was a spelling mistake...One of the tall skinny road cones hit your nozzle, that's why I was confused. Those are called pylons, cones are cone shaped lol.
