Hollow X2 (carnage pic's)

this is my bud's (x2addict) new ski and my old water logged hull. i thought id post a few defoam pics since ive never seen many and im sure the x2 nuts wont mind viewing a little x2 carnage!! it took both of us about 8 hours Saturday night and about 3 hours or so Sunday to get it where its at now. it was definitely a PITA, but just the thought of how sick this ski is going to be was motivation enough.

How wet? Good time for a one way and rear exhaust tube.

it was really wet some places and dry others  all the thru hull lines were cracked and a few small cracks other places and in he trays. it was at least 60 pounds heavier then our other 2-x2's and was a real turd in the water when compared side by side with a good one.

im trying to talk him into going ahead and doing rear exhaust and a scupper, but he likes the front exhaust blasting in his ears and he doesnt want a leaky scupper. if we can find him a good scupper im sure i can talk him into that. but for now i think im the only one that wants rear exhaust :439: and i have good foam

I always wanted to make the area under the seat the fuel tank somehow.

i was thinking the same thing last night crab!!!

You could put it in and just cap it for future use. What about cutting the tray as flat as possible with no seat just turf?

he mentioned that tonight so we may just cap it for now and just go ahead and get the dirty work done all at once.

and theres no way to get it as flat as the tray without building it up a couple of inches due to the pump cavity. but he has some awesome plans for the seat area you'll just have to be patient but im sure you will like it

Yeah I have some idea's in the works for this baby. I really want to stick with front exhaust, but I decided today I'll go ahead and plumb it for rear and cap it just so it's there and I can change it around if I like. I'll go ahead and do the scupper also. What I need to do next is redo all the through hull water lines. And I'll probably go ahead and run 4 of them so I can run dual cooling and still have a spare. I can't wait to ride my new boat!

This is one of the bulkhead all cleaned off and ready for new lines.

Rags left, addict right, right? While its open, reinforce the sides in front of the pump tunnel to the firewall, they will crack there just ask Pete.
