I was super impressed with the waves today a few nice rollers came in father out and my second attempt and a back flip made it 3/4 around nosed in an broke my nose piece and hood latch and hood straps which led me to sink ASAP. Thank you to all the guys who brought me in and got my ski running in 5 mins. We have a killer group of guys!

THURSDAY: Cooler wind shifting from SW to WNW 5-15 mph with waves 1-1.5′ in fresh/angled/small north swell, possibly building some in the evening.
FRIDAY: Cooler wind rotating N/NE 13-22 mph with waves starting out at 1.5-2′ in north wind swell, up significantly during the day to 2.5-3′ (occ + pm) in choppy, increasingly drifty close period NE wind swell.
SATURDAY: Wind “easing” N/NE 8-17 mph with waves leveling off in the morning at 2-3′ (+ south areas) in moderate period, cross-chopped NE swell.
SUNDAY: Cool wind NNW/N 5-14 mph with waves dropping down some more to 1.5-occ 2.5′ in moderate period N/NE swell.

What was your hoodstrap setup? Know why it failed?

I have two home made hood straps that just click in like a buckle those both snapped open and my hood latch snapped, it won't lock now . I'm going to see if jetmaniac can hook me up with one of his straps otherwise I'm ratchin the hood down so it won't come off. So pumped to maybe land my first one !

Thank you Shawn , it must be a Hurricane "WE" have not heard of . Just let me hear one person say 10 feet is nothing , and Ill slap you with a tuff guy alert so fast it will make your head spin ..... just try me.

if it's even close to 9-10 feet it is going to be hellish out there. shallow water + overhead chop. I cant wait... :beerchug:
