Looking for carbs that are reliable and easy to tune, best of the best. Is there a go to for a good aftermarket carb?

They never did. I took a set of billet Rivas. Inserted aluminum slug up top and made horns like Novis, developed the radius taper on one surrogate carb, then had Quest Engineering (Novi) add their boosters to two of them once it was perfect. Very very effective and strong carbs. They have been on some winning skis in havasu back in 2000’s. (I leant them out). When did Novi start building carb bodies out of billet? Lease that is what it looks like @MTRHEAD
I understand to match the application. Looking for opinion on outlets to explore. I've had my eye on Novi's but haven't been unable to speak with anyone at Novi. Looking for alternatives.
For the vast majority of jetski riders, you've got one of two options.Speaking with your motor builder would be a good start.

A-the person posting the question is the one who built the motor or
B: yamaha built the motor 30yrs ago.
Either way the constant "ask your engine builder" replies to question like this gets old fast. I'll never have the money to have a motor built for me, yet I'd still like answers to questions as I try to ride. I'm sure others would as well.
I agree with you 100%Mikuni 46mm SBN.
There is no one best carb. Match the carb to your application.
