Holy Hydrospace!!!

I was simply AMAZED at the sheer number of HS' at the race.

In one race on Saturday there were ELEVEN Hydrospaces and four Kawis on the line. Sounded very weird on the starts...

The Stock 2 class was stacked with HS's. The class was pretty much made for them to see how they would stack up in true "stock class" form. I think if there was more SXR's in the class it would not have been the HS show it turned out to be.

There was a total of 5 cracked Hydrospace hulls from the log jump . . . . . . . . at just this one event.

They are gonna have to resolve that little issue soon . . . . .

if momar were dead he'd be rolling over in his grave with such blasphemy about the HS. don't get me wrong, it's a great ski but i don't think they actualy figured that a ski that is "made for racing" would actually be raced this hard

I helped Boober load his ski onto a stand after his Am Stock race (no log jumps). He knew there was water in it and the ski had several inches in it. We then noticed to 10" cracks down each side under the nose of it. Water was pouring out, as the cracks were practically holes.

that boat has also be in the surf as well so i think it takes more of beating in the surf than a log jump

For $15,000.00 you ought to be able to drive your truck up on top of it to do an oil change after hitting log jumps and racing in the surf with it . . . . . . . well almost.

Brian Kemp (Yamahaman3) caved the nose in again on the log jump...... not sure if this is his replacement hull, yep, you got it, he is on his 2nd hull in a month........ He also has another HS with the 160 kit....... (not sure which one)..
