It was probably the router. I had a really old 54g Linksys that I finally replaced last year because I was getting tired of having to reset it. I had the same issues.

Same here. Mine worked for a couple years and started having issues with some newer devices like the iphone 4S. I found a flash that brought it up a little more current and resolved some issues but ended up buying a new Cisco router in the end.

When I had Comcast I had to spoof the MAC address of the laptop used to setup the Stupid Modem. Should be under Setup>MAC address clone.
