Made the hood from a 1994 WaveRaider hood's center section and 1992 Superjet hood. I have more pics of the progress, but not with me right now.
Just sprayed it this past Sunday. Turned out ok; it's a 10+ foot ski :)
I'll post more pics over the next couple months as I slooowly assemble it. It took me forever to get to this point. Still lots left to do...

your planning and execution is awesome. not knocking it cause I like how it was done, but did you stand in the tray? those bars seem forward and low to me. mine are as far back as I can get em without making a negative mold and about 28 up from the tray. unless you are tearing it up in the surf its kinda low to cruise around.

yeah, I am wondering how it will ride. I've stood on it lots of times, but its hard to stand on a ski that is sitting on a stand that's Parallel with the ground...and imagine how it will ride.
I may put it on my other SN hull thats -3 off the rear. It rides more nose high.
The only cruising we do is to get TO the surf and back to the launch.

The piece of metal on the underside of the hood is the steering cable holder. Still need to put in the hood breather tubes, etc.
I am planning to just screw a piece of alum plate over the stock Raider Guage location...unless somebody has the guages for it for cheap. The one that came out was cracked.

Gotta stock on some more tiger fur for shark control! :)

wow it looks awsome andy!! I cant wait to ride it this weekend. The handlebar position looks great to me. Its gonna be a surf slash/barrel roll machine. And considering what your packing under the hood it should be an all around good time!
