btw, I went with some heavy duty weather stripping and some 8mm Hydro-turf underpadding. so far, it's worked like a champ and total cost was $7 :fing02:
I'm still thinking about using this stuff in addition to the oem seal to better seal the hood. I have an oversized gas tank & the front of my hood doesn't seal as well as I like. I'm getting to the point where I'm becoming a perfectionist now, but I might try this stuff and see how it works.Been using this stuff on a couple 550's for 6 years now.. never replaced it. Its grip lock stuff. You put it on the hood its self and not on the hull. The bulb mashes flat to seal. Got it from my local marine/boat center.
