I don't mean to sound cross with you engineman44, but for Kenny Keepers I would suggest, as mentioned before, buying the part versus making a set. For two reasons:
1- a portion of the sale could go back to Joe Kenny since they are named after him (I hope he gets something for them!!! to help him out with his continued recovery)
2- it is a nice gesture to get a part that is named after a really nice guy and leading rider from not that long ago

I considered making my own style Kenny Keepers but after I realized how much time it would take me to;

design the keeper,
drive into town to the metal shop,
buy the Aluminum,
return home,
trace out the shapes,
cut them out,
sand and grind all the rough edges,
drill the mounting holes,
drive back to town to hardware store to pick up the stainless hardware,
return home,
drive back to town again to hardware store because I got the wrong size hardware the first time,
return home again,

I suddenly realized that my home-made looking non-anodized keepers would be just about as expensive as if I bought the originals from Blowsion. Plus, if I bought from Blowsion, I'd be supporting the sport by supporting one of the very few stand up only suppliers on the planet. After you think about it, $75 for Kenny Keepers and stainless hardware is a pretty fair price.

wow i completly miss understood the design and function of these all i need is the gap once bolted down between the keepers and front of the bed plate thanks and i asume there only ran on the front of the motor the rear would be stoped by the coupler thanks

ps i have all the hardware and materials already at my house
