yep, honda is known for failing in a market and sticking with it.:banghead:

if honda felt they where failing in the pwc market they would have already dropped out. honda goes for reliability. not just production and speed like seadoo.:moon:

not reliable at all in florida saltwater.. i worked at a honda shop. i replaced around 30 turbos, 10-15 wire harness, and alot of oil pressure switches.. the nonturbos werent bad..

it all depends on how you take care of your stuff. if you ride in salt you have to take care of every thing after each ride to avoid those problems.

not true- I have a few customers who are maintenance freaks ad they have electrical issues. do you own a honda or work professionally on them?

i own two and no problems other than needing new plugs, but not used in saltwater either.

good keep it that way and you may never have to experience the frustration some are having.

first it starts with a sensor warning like oil- only the oil pressure is fine. if you are lucky enough to be under warranty they will replace the computer next is the wiring harness. lovely isn't it?

its Honda- I have no doubt they will work it out eventually but that does little for the few who got to be the R & D group.

i got the first year they where built and they where built in japan. all other years where built in the usa. from what i have read the first year is the best one, better quality control in japan than in the usa. five years later and only have had oil changes, plugs, and batteries.

if you want the low down from inside a dealer... Seadoo is in works on a new stand up that was suppose to be release by now, and kawi is working on a four stroke.
