Plain old toggle On/Off Military grade, same as the JSS one except the bat will be standard length not shortened like the JSS one.

I found it and am all set. Thanks!

What was the part # that you found? I have the DPDT version for my dual bilge pumps, one with auto delay and the other full time. It would be nice to have the number for the SPDT or SPST switch for a simple one pump setup. Thanks

I would think with a on/off you would have to worry about burning up the bilge? Is that a concern?

??? I turn mine on after subs and stabs then I flip it off when it empties. If I rode surf, I'd probably turn it on when I hit the water, and turn it off when it was back on the beach/stand/trailer.

I turn mine on when the ski leaves the trailer. I turn it off when it gets back on the trailer.

I haven't burned one up yet.

Ones that other folks have used before was the 1TL1-1(Military # MS24523-21)which is the On-Off-On. (3 position switch)

The 1TL1-2 (Military # MS24523-22) is a basic environmentally sealed(to MIL-S-3950) On-Off. They have internal molded elastomer seals at the actuator 'ball', a molded seal where the plate meets the body, and molded in terminal seals. I am buying a few extras, and if you need one, I'll throw you one for $20.00 with free shipping to the lower 48 states. PM me.

These will have the standard length bat .68", not shortened like you could get from JSS.

Yup, Digi Key has been around forever. I used to order stuff from them in the early 80s. I bought one of the Honeywell / Microswitch switches about 8 years ago from a local parts house. I have bent the bat, used and abused this switch and it just keeps working. Best $20 I ever spent for a dash mount bilge switch.

you are right no need to keep turning it off and on a lot of people say the battery dies in a hour or so but i leave mine on in very rough water and it has never drained battery

What are you using for a switch - I'm going to install duals in my 07 SJ with the bowsion daul bracket I already picked up..I was thinking of the handlebar mounted switch but its big$$$. Don't know if I like the dash mount? On my old 650sx with single pump - it had a handbar mount that I turned on/off often while riding?

I ran a cheap 7 dollar waterproof switch that I picked up at lowes. I used the little rubber switch cover on it. It worked great.
