Hood Breathability

I have a question about the amount of air breathers needed in the hull. I have gutted my hood, including removing the liner. I will be rebuilding it, my question is do you think 2(two) 3/4" 45 degree bilge outlet openings will be enough to feed the motor with air/vent the bilge? I dont want to choke the motor but I want to keep it fairly water free, again no Liner.

Definitely not enough airflow. Like @keith t said at least 2 2" holes. 38mm twin carbs are equal to two 1.5" holes but you have to account for some loss of flow in the breathers I think, you cant just match the size. Also you probably want some room to grow in the future with bigger carbs/motor. For some options here are two threads to read.

Almost finished with the hood mold. I need to sand down about an inch a channel for the pole. Still waiting for glass order to arrive. I decided to go with 3 2” breather holes plus the 2 for pole.
