Hood latch problems help please

Hey guys, so I am having some trouble with my hood latch. I got a lowering hood for my superjet and the holes in the hood are drilled for a raider latch. So I got one and I bolted it on but now when I try an close the latch it will not close all the way and I can not lock the hood. Anyone have this problem and how did you fix it. I like the OEM style latches and don't want to run a ratchet set up. Thanks

try and put some washers behind the top 2 studs on the latch betwine the hull/tray. this should work for you.
