Always used it for that, just seems overkill for a handle, weight saving definitely wasn't a first priority when they designed it haha

Actually i think the design for the sxr hood handle is great, considering the 750sx plastic one would rip off when you tried removing the hood, i used to see alot of 750sx for sale missing the hood handle because they were just glued in
