Hood Rat to Hot Rod... Js300/440/550 Thing.

So I've cut the bondline down 1.5" at the nose tapered to 0 at the bulkhead.

Looks more low profile not so tall and goofy...but this now will probably make the ski want to dive/sub while hard in a turn or plow through not jump the wave.

So its getting Tubbies glassed on to make basically a "wider more stable front end". Gives it like a 3rd chine kinda....hopefully it helps.

Thinking that I'm going to cut the inside of the hull out where the Tubbies are mounted. This will give me a little more room for a pipe.

Around a year ago I made a stainless chamber for my buddies 850 wave blaster and im going to make a custom pipe to fit in this hull with the 750. Should be pretty cool.

I might get a little froggy and make a wrap around the engine C4 style.... Im talkin hand rolled tig welded center bleed beast mode pipe.

All in a kawi hull.....

Hooray!!!! Finished all the glasswork on the inside of the hull.

Them Tubbies make this thing pretty wide in the front......

Weighed the hull today. As it sits with the hood on it was only 76lbs. Should be quite a light ski.

I think I'm just gonna gelcoat it white.
Maybe snow camo turf?

Biax all done. Time to smoothe the sides with the cabo resin mix....

Resonator with 45° out the rear side, hopefully gonna pour foam today and carve out the footholds...

Well....not too sure if its safe to say I'll be able to actually flip this thing or not, so I'm thinkin these footholds should be fine. They feel pretty snug and their free

Also I wanted to make sure my tray was still usable and not with too much in the way. Gotta still be able to surf stance here and there.



That wire brush on the drill does wonders.
