He is OK! Full details soon. Jeremy Schandelmayer's steering cable broke and he went straight into the woods at full speed. Fortunately, he bailed as his ski went flipping into woods. A huge Branch ended up slashing through his ski into his seat. Thankfully he bailed at the last second!!!!!!!!!

A thick branch pierced all the way through the seat and would have impaled him in the stomach had he not bailed. Ski went airborne 10ft and traveled a distance of 50ft before hitting a tree, landing upside down.

Idk about his ski, but mine has a kill switch. As soon as the cable snapped, I would have pressed the stop button or pulled the lanyard, that's just me tho.

totally, real men zip tie the tether, use the stop button as a backup start, use a butt connector for a tl switch under the hood, but keep their idle set low.

Sounds like a great idea, untill it circles into the path of another boat, or runs into something/someone.... Why risk causing an accident?

Yep my 550 did circles but one windy day i fell off it kept going, the waves wouldn't let it turn. a kid in a boat though he would help out by pulling in frount of it to try to stop it. He comes back with a big smile and said i got your ski do you think I can ride it. I looked at him and said I would let you but there is a huge hole in it now from where it hit your boat i think i should go in!!!!!!!
