Hotel Preference

I have a room reserved at makai but its not ocean front.. would it be better to get an ocean front at a neighboring hotel or should I stay at the hosting hotel?? Unless someone is not gonna make it this year and has an ocean front at makai that they wanna come off of??? lemme know

You'll just be passing out and showering in your room anyway. It doesn't matter much.

We stayed non ocean side 3 years ago at the Makai, it wasnt bad. Then we upgraded to oceanfront last year and again this year. If you can get Ocean front, do it, its cool to see everything going on from your room.Its a roach motel, but for $$ its not bad, Like GDFL said youll just shower and pass out in there anyway!

Want a hot tub in your room....a bit north is a Best Western with suites. Had to stay there a couple years ago when the Makai "lost" my reservation. It was nice but pricey. (and it's 3/4 mile away or so.)
