We called the golden nugget. They said the discounted rate was for the weekend of the 14-15th for the beach bash, not the weekend of the 20th...
Am I confused or what? The wife messaged Mark on Facebook a few days ago, no reply as of yet.

Anyone have the scoop? Do I have the dates mixed up?

Should be 20-22. I used VRBO.com you can find condos/homes for rent. I use it all the time for vacation.

Do not call the nugget. They could not accommodate a block of rooms due to the fact we didn't use enough last year of the block

In absecon nj which is a 5 min ride there are a bunch of hotels. Many decently priced

Just a forewarning, the price of hotels in abscecon will change a lot from Friday night to Saturday night.

I highly suggest using VRBO.com and homeaway.com to rent a condo/house. You will save money and be right on the island.
