I have a Sea Doo stock head that I need 0.015-0.020" milled off. Does anybody have any good recommendations? Local would be nice, as I need this done ASAP. Thanks in advance!
if its just flat milling and no other modifications to the head, i can do it at my highschool shop, if you trust a 17 y.o. to do the work for you :silly:
Heck i dont know, it wouldnt be too hard to do. I just have to do it soon cause its my last year in Highschool and wont have access afterwards. I may try on one of our yamaha heads before i start f-ing up other peoples stuff. I'll see how it turns out. Ive also got to make a new pole mount for my dad since he busted his at the LSFR this past weekend. but if you can get it to me, Ill do it for free. Dont mind helping others out :bigok:
If he cant get it done, REA Machine in pasadena can do it. Assjoel had his engine work there as well as I did once. I think he charged me 10-15 bucks to machine my head on my RZ. Right across the street from the Yamaha Dealer on Spencer.
well here it is, took a few trys to get it 100% right. the head was already slightly different on each dome, so its not perfect. My best attempt at it. Let me know what you guys think. ill try to get some better pictures once im home and actually have a good camera :bigok:
Actually looks pretty decent. Hope you don't mind (and I mean no offense), but I actually dropped my head off at a motorcycle shop today that is going to do it for me.
Also, heard you were rolling the blaster like it was your job on Sunday, NICE JOB!!!!
no problem, works out for me either way. ive got a milled head for one of our skis now :bigok:
and yeah, i was pulling off a little more than 3/4 rolls sunday and riding them out, working on a video of them now that penguin got. ill have that on here as soon as its done too:sneaky:
