I don't know about in Houston but there are quite a few riders in the Texas area. I'm out in Austin only a couple hours and there are some riders in the Dallas area. Don't know if that help or not

Im just South of Houston and ride in Clear Lake, the bay and in G town.

I live in Channelview (East side of Houston) and myself and 2 of my roommates ride regularly. Don't be fooled, there are TONS of people that ride in Houston.

And don't be fooled into thinking that the heat & humidity is comparable to 120 temps. At least you can breath in dry heat. The high humidity can cause respiratory issues for some people & it definitely plays a part in the heat index.
Other than that & the traffic, I think you'll like Houston. Good luck with your move.

Yep. I got rates from banks and all, then, just because it didn't hurt, I let Penguin's mom get me rates a couple of days later. She got me better rates from the exact same banks I had gone to earlier that week. And no, there was no industry wide drop between.
