Hey all,
I'm looking to get into stand up skis. I use to race MX back in my teens years and always wanted a ski, but it was never in the cards. Now that my MX career is long over and I have some expendable income, I'm finally going to pull the trigger on a ski.
I've never ridden a stand up before and I want to make sure I don't hate it before I drop some major coin on one. There doesn't seem to be many used skis in the Dallas area, but I came across this one.
It's a 1998 Kawasaki SXi Pro. It seems to be in good running order, but the hull has seen better days. The gelcoat looks pretty chewed up.
Is this something that should be fixed? Is it worth fixing? Is fixing it expensive?
