How deep have you subbed

I've been turn subbing lately. I have done it where I hold WOT until it stalls and slowly pop up to the surface. 3-5 seconds maybe. Did it on Saturday and there was some girl on a couch nearby who caught it. I got the thumbs up but after hearing you guys sinking your skis .. Im gonna have to pass; way too much money into my SJ to do that. My bilge only runs for 10-20 sec afterwards so I guess not that bad.

There is a guy named Tom Timm who always does major deep subs. Last year at the Roar on the River event Tom did a sub into the current and was under at least 10 seconds. We called it the yellow submarine.

Sunk mine again in 1 shot this weekend at Shasta, Mariners point. Was under prob 7 full seconds before i realized it wasnt coming up

Edit; FWIW The only significant damage Ive had so far on my engines from water intrusion has been broken reeds. This was after pulling the plug to crank after sinking. Apparently pulling the plugs isnt enough. I since have started pulling the intake and reeds also, and turning it upside down to crank it over. Since doing this I havent had any problems. The cyls look decent after many hrs of use, and comp is well within ridable specs. I sink them regularly also. I really need a AM hull, but Hvae to wait just a bit longer.
