ok i was installing my new WET PIPE!!!! yay! lol and i discovered on my electrical box one of my spark plug things (no clue what the mechanical term) but i want to fix this what is the part called? and where can i order a new one?

That is lame, did you break gland during the install or has it been broken. I bet there is some water in there if it has been broken and you havn't noticed.

I would order the right part, but you could glue it to get by, but I wouldn't recommend it. Either way you need to crack open that box and check for water intrusion before it goes to town on you electric.

yea it was already broken i found out the part number and im waiting for blowsion or R&D to open so i can order it. yea im going to take it out today thank you for the help!

i got one used from a guy on here a few weeks ago. I broke mine when removing the start/stop wires. Id send you the one i have left over but im not sure if its the same as my 550, and considering my others are from 1988 i should probably hold on to a spare

Get the part number off Kawasaki's site and just order through a local dealer that deals with Kawi's

I did plan on using a custom eBox anyways with custom connectors from Otter Box.

There is a Japanese company who makes billet ones. I think they are in the J Lines or Fennec catalogue.

If you really can't find any, PM me, we can work something out.

i got em fix well almost i order two from blowsion and i will say this part SUCKS!!! to fix pain in the butt! took me an hour an a half to do this but now that i know it would only take me 15 minutes....... thanks for the help

Yeah it sucks if you have to remove them. The hardest part is getting the wires out of the rubber pieces. I have only taken the mapart, never had to take them apart and put back together. They are a PITA for sure!

I already sold my quad but I am still hanging onto the ski stuff. It will get used one day. Just right now, I am doing the responsible thing and saving down payment money for a house. I paid off 30k in debt in less than two years and I have 14k saved up now. I could easily buy anything I need/want to build my ski. But buying my first home is a lot more important to me right now. Skis are just toys, a house is a lot more significant to sustaining my life...

Good for you! Living debt free is a great way to be. I just wish I wasn't about to go get in debt for a house.
