Super Jet How do I know if I should change my mid shaft?

I had a guy look at my 1990 sn and he said I should replace my mid shaft. I pulled my pump out and the spines on my drive shaft are shot. He said I should also replace my mid. I run the ski without a pump and I don't hear anything out of the ordinary. What do you think? If so does anyone have any?

Yes you must change the mid shaft. If your drive shaft is shot, so will you mid. You can get on from jetmaniac (search he is a member)
