Other How do you get your Rickter gas tank to not rotate?

I'm running a b-pipe and a stock gas tank. How are you guys preventing it from rotating while you ride.

I have tried turfing the floor under the tank, but that didn't help. Wedging a brick of turf/padding between the side of the tank and the pipe chamber helps, but I don't like pushing the pipe against the side of the hull.

What else have you guys tried?

I was at WF and saw guys blocking the tank with a big chunk of foam between the stator cover and the tank. It didn't look too bad.

I did the same thing. Made a block out of closed cell foam. I shaped it just like the oem rubber one but made it bigger. Sanded the hull and Contact cemented it in. Works like a champ.

2 things here

1-Ski clinic makes a very, very nice pod that you just glue in the ski and the tank will never move.

2- Cold fusion is now making a tank the fits like a glove in these hulls. But not sure if cold fusion or anyone else has made a pod for it yet.

I was thinking that, but then had second thoughts and thought that I also needed one of those rubber wedges that comes in the bottom of an OEM tank.

I'll rip the turf I glued down and try that out. Thanks TC.
