Zelle has absolutely no fees whatsoever because it is done as part of the Bank N.A. EFT system.

You set up Zelle on your online banking, then you send from Zelle on your online banking to the email address of the recipient.

Then the recipient receives instructions on how to set up Zelle on his or her bank if he or she hasn't done it already.

Much better than PayPal or Venmo IMHO.

As far as being cheated by the seller. If the seller is a member here, search for his or her name on the forum or on the PWCToday.com forum (there is some discussion regarding a particular scammer over there by the way, he is grabbing photos from ebay listings and offering to sell products he doesn't even own - never sends the product but keeps your money).

Ask others on the forum about him or her.

I did just the same investigation/research here before I sent $700 to a member here for a complete 701 engine. He had a good reputation and everything went smoothly and the engine is solid. Great experience. But as always buyer beware. So do your homework.

I have bought two so far, both shipped from Florida with Paypal friends no protection. I also shipped both of them with U-ship. I guess I like to live dangerously.

They were both cheap/rough hulls to begin with though, so it's more accurate that I'm just a cheapskate and could afford to take the risk.

Both were people I could at least somewhat scope out on here and both went fine.

I always wonder how much paypal would actually help if there was an issue, especially with the shipping (seller could probably just claim that it was fine when it was picked up by the shipper). I dunno.

Side note, anyone who's used uship, were you happy? Im a bit lost on how to find a shipper, other then uship.
Uship is hit or miss. I’ve had great success and I’ve also had things stolen. Always pay for insurance. BUT, If you have to make a claim, it’s a $500 deductible and you have to prove your item was worth what you insured it for or you won’t get anythin. It’s BS. For that reason, i wouldn’t use uship anymore. Pretty sad everything is a gamble these days.

What is a gamble these days that has not previously been a gamble?

When you ship YRC, the hull or ski must be strapped to a pallet.

Then YRC will measure the weight, the height, width and length INCLUDING THE PALLET !!!

So make sure that you use the smallest, shortest pallet that you can fit under the footprint of the hull !
