How do you haul your Jet Lift cart?

Alright, so my wife bought me a jet lift cart for Xmas and it's great for the beach events. I also like to use it at the local ramp to move my ski from they hitch hauler to the ramp. Problem is that my truck sits pretty high and that cart isn't light. So, I either slide the ski off onto a stand so I can pull the cart out of the back, or have to get a friend to help lift the cart out. Obviously can't drop the tailgate with the ski on the hauler. Has anyone gotten creative and found a way to haul their jet lift cart on their hitch hauler?

It's not that heavy set the wheels on the edge of the bed grab the handle and slowly roll it down the side of the truck till it touches the ground

Yea, not really looking to run a cart down the side of my truck.

That's the only way unless u pick it up and do it with out touching the truck or have a front hitch and carry the ski up front or have a trailer

I slide it off on to a stand and then roll the cart out the tailgate. Pain in the ass but works.

That's one of the reasons i just can't get into a hitch hauler.

Unless I could find something like this that would handle the weight;

I have a trailer I just prefer the hauler. At times it seems like less work but others it doesn't.

Jet lift makes quick disconnect pins for the cart. You can disassemble the whole thing in a minute or two. Then just load it in to your truck while it's apart.
I usually don't use a hitch hauler, the cart is usually in the bed or top of my trailer toolbox.

Is there any way you can add on to your hitch hauler and make it hold the tote too?

My idea was use two pieced of tubing that were mounted vertical. Then all you do is drop the end of your jet lift into the tubes and your all set. The bunks would sit inside the tubes if that makes sense. My only concern is that the cart would get torn up by the tube that it's placed in. My other thought was make two cradles for the wheels and figure the rest out from there. I'll have to make a hauler of sorts in the next week or two. I recently bought a van that holds two supersets in it, but no room for a cart. My plan is to make a hitch hauler that holds 2 gas cans, a cooler, and the tote. If I actually get around to it soon I'll post up some pics for you.

did your cart not come with quick disconnects ??

We changed the super ballon sand beach tires to a smaller size and that helped a ton

The only thing I'm aware of that disconnects is the handle. And you can pull the pin for the wheels to remove them.

I really am just looking for a way to not lift it over the side of my truck (which requires me lifting it over my head) and scratch up my truck.

I know Jet Lift made some hitch haulers, but maybe they can make an adapter so the cart is also the hitch hauler. Like lift the cart and walk it into a cradle attached to the hitch, set it down into the cradle, lock it in, and then drop the axle and front support off and throw them in the bed...

Even though I dont have a truck, Ive thought about this for awhile...would be awesome.

Beach cart hitch hauler combo. Slide the cart onto the hauler, remove the axle and store on the cart above the tray. Never have to lift the ski or cart.

You win, I have been thinking about how to make this happen too. Looks like this is a good solution!

As far as connecting it to the trailer, I plan on adding some bike rack style clamps so it is easy on, easy off.
