How do you trailer your aftermarket hull without a front bow eye?

My trailer has 2 normal pin style bow stops for my Kawasakis but I recently picked up an aftermarket ski without a bow eye in the front. I added a D loop to the front of the ski and just put my ratchet strap through it and strapped it around the upright on the trailer, then a strap over the tray as usual. It worked for the drive from FL to MN but I wasn't a fan. There's nothing to really control the front to back movement.

Is there a better way without strapping over the top of it?

I'd probably look for images of SXR's on trailers (for sale ad's, etc). They usally involve a winch pulling the nose into some sort of snub arrangement. Maybe even visit a Kawasaki dealership as they usually have optimized 'ski/trailer packages...

Sweet, that's exactly the type of thing I was looking for. Your trailer setup looks the exact same as mine too. The upright there with a tool box right in front. I should be able to make something up like that without too much trouble.
