After reading a couple different threads i though it might be kind of cool to see how far some of you have driven to pick up a ski, hull or even motor.
Hell maybe you drove some where really far for just a weekend of riding?

I drove from Mich to Indiana to pick up my RN superjet, not really that far, a couple hours.

Then recently i did a bonzi 2 day run from Mich to Tampa Florida to pick up my ROK hull 2480 miles round trip in just around 41 hours total.

4418 miles ......

4117 miles in plane from Tahiti to Los Angeles and 299 miles with car from Los Angeles to Lake Havasu city to take my first freestyle hull from Tom Superramjet on X, who come from Texas if i remember well.

Put the hull in my car, and return to LA and take plane to Tahiti ...

Never count when it´s for passion ;-))

I drove from austin, tx to pennsylvania to pick up a highroller octane hull. Wish i could take that back.

Couple weeks ago i drove from austin, tx to sparks, nv to compete. Then from sparks, nv to calgary, canada to do a show. Then from calgary, canada to colonial beach, va to comlete. Then from colonial beach, va back to austin. 7,000 miles just for jet skis lol

Damn I've got nothing on you guys. I drove From Cleveland to Chicago for my sn. Did it in one day. Left at 8 am and got there a little after 4 or maybe 5. Test rode the ski, bought it, ate, drove back and got home at 4 am!

If I'm out of town for any reason I try to meet up with whoever rides there.

I drove 24 hour round trip from Ohio to Jersey coast once for a 99 SJ. Korn drove from Ohio to Oklahoma for his SX-R. Doh! on the highroller Octane trip! ^^^

I drove from Minneapolis to Denver for my SJ and had to go through ND on the way to get a truck..

nothing like taking the scenic route through the amazing scenery of ND... oh wait...

you guys have some interesting stories, but nothing compares to the 15 miles i drove to pick up my sj.. bought it, loaded it, ate, and did some other stuff and didn't even make an afternoon out of it.. haha

I drove from Winnipeg, Canada to Denver, CO to pick up my first superjet,18 hours one way. No point coming back with the truck box half full so i bought a second one while i was there to re-sell when i got home.

I've driven from Winnipeg to Minneapolis (900 miles round trip) 3 times to pick up ski's. Well worth the trip as standups are rare up here in Canada and the one that are for sale demand big money.

as we can read this tread, we are the best " environemental fan" .....

we have a very bad "bilan carbone" , just for buying freeride or freestyle hull

so afterthat i'm sure all of us use BIO OIL , switch off all the light and select and sort garbage :arms::veryhappy:

10 hrs to Lake Erie each year for freeride
5 hrs to va beach freeride
4 hrs to nc coast freeride
5 hrs to get first sj
5 hrs to get my SF

I would drive just about anywhere to get the freeride fix, it's work that stops me from having more time to do it

Drove 1800 miles to pick up my Matrix Pro. Left after work on Friday night and was home by 2pm sunday. We did 26 hours straight before we finally pulled off for a 6hr nap before the last 8 hr push home. 34 hours behind the wheel and we'll worth it.

The closest decent ride spot for us is Tybee Island GA at 4 1/2 hrs round trip. JAX beach is just over 8 hours round trip and where we are headed tomorrow at 5am. 4 hrs down, 4-5 hours of riding and BS'ing and then another 4 hrs home. Good way to burn a Sunday with the wife.

We haven't ridden as frequent the last couple years but there was a time when we were riding Jax, Tybee or St. Augustine every weekend. I put 200k miles on my truck in the last 4 1/2 years and I just got burned out.
