Freestyle How hot does your waterbox run?

Been stinking hot here, motor and pipe good but waterbox pretty hot.
Anyone got any temperatures to share?

Flow control valve to the stinger clogged? Mine is hot but not hot enough to sizzle water. (tnt v2 with pfp box)

Brand new fcv. Had 2 mm restrictor, went to 4, then eliminated restrictor and box cooled down some. It just seemed hotter than head or pipe, was wondering if I put a temp strip what is it supposed to be?

Iam usually around the 130 range with RRP wet pipe and pf dry pipe

Dump the flow control and use a restrictor. Keep the downstream temps under 180 max.

So no fcv, 3 mm inline to stinger.
Head is 140, box is 130, running strong.

I always put a 1/4id fuel line restrictor in the bypass line on the flow control valve to put more pressure on the valve so it opens up. Also run a dedicated line to the bottom of the headpipe so lake temp water entering the pipe. Have you played around with the flow control at all?

But punch is slightly diminished. Got a fcv pro, going to try tuning with it
