Super Jet How many of you are running a stock cdi with a pipe?

If you are really concerned with reliability then run a stocker. I ran a stock 62t with a bpipe before switching to a msd. I ocassionally hit the limiter doing tricks but never really got in the way. I did notice more power down low when switching to the msd though. Not a lot, but noticable. I ran back to back tests. I have the msd limiter set to max rpm.

Maybe you should hook some of us up? ;)
I don't like the idea of no rev limiter, because in a split second your ski can rev up to max rpm's if it's out of the water. I really wonder how many rpms a stock crank can handle.. Like, if 8K rpm affects crank life at all.
I was running a protec adustable CDI this season with rev limit set at like 7,750 or so.
never got to use a 61x CDI because mine was junk so before I was running a 6m6 cdi with like a 6500 rev limit..+ a b pipe.
Possibily might go back to a 61x stocker, or get an enhancer. I don't want to sacrifice reliability at all though, can't afford to blow anything up.

I'm with ya on having a rev limit. I hit mine all the time coming unhooked sliding.
