how many of you riders live the good life??

by that i mean you wake up grab a bite to eat, launch the skis for a whole day of riding, and finish up the day by barbecuing and drinking with friends at least 2 times a weak.

I do:

Wake up.
Check e-mail.
Do a lil work.
Get out to lake by 10 or 11.
Come home around 1 or 2.
Eat.
Rest.
Work.

I work from home online so the schedule is nice.

That was my schedule 3 times last week.

weekends... wake up, read email, eat chocolate chip pancakes, read paper, get to beach by 10:30ish, ride/hang on beach until 5:00ish, go home BBQ, have some drinks.

During the week... not so much... 5:00 at the gym, 7:30 at work, home by 4:30... ride if I can...

Dude I have the best life! I live about 2 miles from Oceanside harbor. I am self employed and usually start work about 11am. My schedule-Week days; About 3 days a week I meet my neighbor Matt Smith at the ramp at 6:30am. Burn a tank surf riding at Camp Pendleton. Usually home by 9am. Wife likes to sleep in so she's cool with it. About twice a week, If I'm not working in the afternoon I take my wife and kids down to the harbor for some family time, making sand castles and playing in the surfline. My kids are young so when they're to cold from the water they usually want to play on the jungle jim. My wife watches them and lets me paddle surf the harbor for about an hour. On the weekends: Saturday I meet Matt and anyone else who wants to ride back on the ramp about 6:30 am. I usually spend the rest of Saturday either working on my ski or I'll repeat the afternoon family beach thing. I never ride on Sunday. I go to church at 11am and just hang with my family or rest the whole day. On Monday I do it all over again!

That's what I love about the lake, it's SUPER easy for me to go for an hour and come home no hassles.

4Wheeling 2hour drive to rubicon... but there's also the 2 hour prep time, and then when you are wasted tired at end o day 2 hour drive home, then another 30 minute unloading and parking! It's great fun but def. not something I do for 1 day trips anymore.

Get some buddys and go w/out the fam  sometimes.

The only day that I really cant get out is Sundays. Thats when everyone rides at the beach. Every time I plan on going something comes up. I'm off every other Monday but nobody rides plus the beach is over an hour away. Just more convenient to go to the lake but it is boring most of the time.

Sunday is the day:
Wake up, grab a bite, load up hit the river at arround 11:30 and ride till about 4p come home fire up the grill then unload and clean up skis.

Other than that I am wrenching or workin arrount the house Monday - Sat., I only get Sunday to ride usually.

Cant get anyone else to ride w/ through the week so its quite boring. I ride w/ LAME AZZ weekend worriors I guess.

I spend at least one complete day a week at the beach with the skis, buddies, beers and pizza.

On top of that I ride 3 nights per week (minimum) after work. But that's just riding, no chilling.

lately weve been riding every weekend, and most of them are 3 or 4 day weekends.

2 kids with us though, the 10 year old rides his own superjet, and the 7 year old girly rides with me on mine alot, but that still limits how far, and how much we can ride.
